If I asked you right now how much your business made last month, what it costs you to run every month, and exactly how much you need to cover your life expenses, would you know? Without looking it all up, without that little spike of dread? If the answer is “eh, sorry, no,” you’re in good company. Because today we’re changing that.

Money confidence is the block nobody talks about
When checking your bank account makes you anxious, when you avoid looking at the numbers, when it all feels vaguely overwhelming, when you tell yourself “it doesn’t matter, I’ll just earn more and that’ll fix it all”, you’re actually unconsciously resisting receiving more of it. Your subconscious knows more money means more of something that makes you uncomfortable, so of course it keeps that tap at a trickle.
Here’s the energy you want instead. Excitedly expecting more money, the way you’d wait for a much-loved friend to visit. You can’t affirm your way there. You get there by actually learning to manage your money simply, elegantly, without needing to become an accountant. It only takes 5 minutes a week.
What this looks like in real life
I remember when Anna joined our programme convinced she was so far off on her finances. The anxiety had been building for years, all the “I suck with money” stories running on loop. When we actually sat down and looked at the numbers properly, the gap was only $200 a month. She fixed it in 15 minutes.
The gap was never the problem. It was the avoidance, and the story that grew bigger every month she didn’t look. That avoidance didn’t protect her. It fed the very story that was blocking her way.
What a simple money system actually buys you
Once you have that clarity, financial resilience becomes possible. I’ve shared before how when Martin was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I culled around $150,000 worth of income from my business. I had the confidence to make that call because I had buffers, and a money system I’d been diligently committed to for years, 5 minutes a week, not hours.
Later, after Martin passed away, I took 5 months off. I made basically no money during that time. And we were still okay. That’s not luck. That’s what a long-term commitment to a simple money system buys you: the ability to be fully human and take care of yourself when life demands it, without your finances collapsing around you.
What CEO-level money management actually looks like
It’s so much simpler than you think. You know your numbers, not every cent, just the big chunky ones. What comes in, what goes out, what your life costs, what your business needs. You pay yourself properly, a real consistent wage, even on irregular income. You have buffers, money set aside that turns emergencies into inconveniences. And your money has jobs. Every dollar that arrives is already predestined to go somewhere: fun money, bills, business, tax, future wealth.
That’s it. That’s the machinery. Simple, elegant, and completely learnable, even if you’ve told yourself for years that you suck with money.
When this is all in place, real money confidence follows. You know your numbers. You know the system works. And that confidence removes the unconscious blocks. The tap opens fully.
